The St. Teresa Chapter of National Honor Society (NHS) hosted a blood drive in cooperation with The American Red Cross on Friday, February 7, 2020. Vanessa Gillespey, student chairperson of this year's annual blood drive says "I want to thank St. Teresa's students, faculty, and parents for making this another successful blood drive. This year we collected 38 units of blood to help The Red Cross save lives." From Vanessa's research, St. Teresa's blood drives have collected 610 units of blood over the past sixteen years. Fifty-two percent, primarily students, have been first-time donors. She says that some of our current students are already donating for the second or third time and anticipate that they will continue to donate after graduating.
